Within the TurtleBIOME project, we have a successful partnership with many renowned scientists and institutions worldwide. Among our project interests are epizoic diatoms associated with sea turtles and we have a very strong and fruitful collaboration with the group of scientists that have a similar research interest.

To obtain our samples from loggerhead sea turtles living in different areas across the Mediterranean Sea we collaborate with many researchers and personnel working in various NGOs and institutions. Our main collaboration partner is Marine turtles rescue centre in Aquarium Pula, Croatia and we have also a very successful partnership with Blue World Institute , Croatia.

Our international partners include ARCHELON, Greece and Sea Turtle Clinic at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, University Aldo Moro, Bari, Italy.
